6 Game Win Streak Gives Bulldogs 6 Seed
July 30: The Bayside Bulldogs season ending 6 game winning streak has given
them the number 6 seed heading in to the Mickey Mantle Division Playoffs starting this Friday Night. Bayside (13-8 LICML) will
play the number 11 seed which has yet to be determined, at 7pm at Jack Kaiser Stadium on the campus of St. John's University,
in the single elimination first round.
If the Bulldogs win Friday Night
they will play another single elimination game on Monday Night. A win there would grant a berth in the semifinals, which
would be a 3 game series beginning on Thursday, August 7.
Bayside wrapped
up their regular season on Tuesday Night with a 5-2 victory over the New Hyde Park Cyclones. Jordan Colflesh set the
tone on the mound, throwing 4 innings of shutout ball to pick up the win.
